Dayna Spinner is an artist and art teacher in New Hampshire. She has a B.A. in Fine Arts from Brandeis University and a M.A.T. in Art Education from Plymouth States University. She draws, paints, sculpts, and does a variety of crafts, frequently drawing inspiration from the natural world. Basically if it involves getting to create something with the added bonus of creating a mess besides, she’s happy to give it a whirl.
That which really snags her interest are dichotomies, symbolism, and layers of meaning. This is probably why she likes surrealism as much as she does. As a student of art history she loved to analyze art to discover what about a work was hidden in plain sight. She welcomes the viewer to do the same here.
